LaserLink [CEMAX ICON]

LaserLink is a software and SBus board package. With it, SPARC-basedworkstations can digitally control and transfer images to the lasercameras used in most radiology departments: the 3M Laser Imager Plus, theKodak KELP, and the AGFA laser.LaserLink includes drivers for the serial control ports and parallel datatransfer ports on the SBus board. Application programs can spool imagesto the LaserLink spooler; and the LaserLink software takes care ofsending images in the proper order when the camera is available. Userscan query the status of the filming queue, and delete or reorder filmjobs. Used in conjunction with clinical software packages such asToothPix or TumorTrak, this package can automate the creation of filmstailored to the specific medical applications.
